as i was telling bs81 over instant messenger, i had to verbally undress him before i lost my own dignity.

Ok I have to make one last post.

McNabb's teams all should of made the playoffs, and they did even without him (remember 2002...AJ Feely held down the fort. Hell, he played well enough for you guys to con the Dolphins out of a 2nd round pick). Maybe McNabb isn't even that good to begin with, maybe it's all the system. You guys were fine without him, right? Ok so AJ Feely is not as good, clearly...but the fact is there that those teams would of made the playoffs with or without McNabb. The defense was too good to do anything less.
In 2002 the eagles played 5 playoff teams in the reg season and were 2-3 vs. them....

McNabb won 1 (Bucs) and lost 2 (Titans; Colts)
Koy / Feely won 1 (49ers) and lost 1 (last game vs Giants)

McNabb's 1 win vs a playoff team in the reg season was against the Bucs who got revenge in the NFCC game....

Philly has a great TEAM that has benifited greatly from playing in the NFC LEast the last 4 years..... only twice has any other team been in the playoffs (Giants 2002 and Boys 2003 as WC births)

This thread has taken many turns (got moved to the gutter as well).

I understand why many put Jones at the bottom of their list at RB, because he was a rookie last year; but he did have nice stats and looked good the last 7 games.

What I don't understand is why so many put Eli above Ramsey. Eli never looked good or showed any flashes of being great (IMO). They only played head to head ounce and Ramsey won.

Eli's claim to fame is being Peyton's brother. I live in FL and watch alot of SEC football and was never impressed with him, but then again what do I know -- I wasn't impressed with Heath Shuler either....

This will be a telling yeay for Ramsey, because before his 7 starts last year, his only "NFL" experience was about half the starts in Steve Spurrier's "Micky Mouse" offense. This will be his first full year in an NFL offense.

too bad tiki gets to celebrate that crown every year on the putting greens instead of in the playoffs.
