I guarantee you that people who own pools have a lower death percentage than people who smoke or own guns.

EDIT: I should add, as a cause of owning a pool vs. owning a gun or smoking

I'm assuming you mean mortality rates because death percentage has been pretty steady at 100% for the last few million years.

Haha ... I've seen that stat before. Pools are about 20x more deadly if I remember correctly.
