Default Raiders Coach Asked To Retire........

Coach Lane Kiffin hopes to return next season but has been asked to retire by the Raiders owner Al Davis. ESPN is reporting that Davis wrote him a resignation letter two weeks ago, however the Raiders are denying this.

that's gotta bs. Al Davis can't be so stupid that he'd keep firing coaches after one year.

Can he?

Kiffin wasn't a bad coach, you can't get much more out of a team devoid of any talent than he got out of those scrubs. Whats amazing is how bad the defense got in just one year with almost no changes.

If Kiffen gets fired I would love him to come to Dallas as a QB coach/future OC

Al Davis is the so stupid. Why is he still the owner of a football team? He was born in the stone ages. Time to move on with a new owner or Oakland will remain a scrub team.

At first I was like, this is Al Davis, he would just fire dude, I can't picture Al Davis asking someone to step down, but I heard that if they fire him, then they have to pay him a large sum of money
