Former Eagle Reno Mahe charged with felony theft

Former Eagles backup running back Reno Mahe has been charged with stealing more than $15,000 in gasoline from a construction company.
The news comes from our friends at CSNPhilly.com via the Deseret News in Utah. A friend of Mahe’s used a company code to steal the gas for Mahe and three other friends.
Mahe’s friend said that he told Mahe it was illegal what they were doing.
“I thought you were allowed to do it,” Mahe said. “I didn’t steal no gas. I don’t need gas.”
Neither do I. But that’s because I don’t own a car. My alibi would probably hold up better in court.
