Chargers RB Sproles signs tender with Chargers

Quote:
John Clayton of ESPN.com reports Chargers halfback Darren Sproles signed his one-year, $7.2813 million restricted free agent tender Friday, according to a source.

Sproles was the Chargers franchise player last season but the uncapped year prevented him from being a free agent because he didn't have six years of experience. To prevent him from leaving, the Chargers designated him a restricted free agent. Any team that wanted to sign him would have had to surrender a first- and third-round pick.

Frankly, the lack of foresight that the Bolts exibited with their backfeild boggles the mind... They kept LT longer then they should have and let Turner our FOR NOTHING!!! Even when the Turner thing went down, LT was already starting to show a serious degrading of productivity... And as much as I like Sproles, he isn't a premier back for anyone... He's basically a Reggie Bush who was drafted, paid and used the way Reggie Bush should have been from the get go.
